Patrick Matevia (1948 - 1992)

Patrick William Matevia was born April 15, 1948 in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, Michigan to Clifford and Frances Matevia. He died August 9, 1992 of AIDS-related complications in Juniper, Palm Beach County, Florida. Patrick was an extremely talented performer. From the late 1960s to 1970, he was affiliated with BYU's Drama Department and was "one of the audience's favorite performers of all time" at Sundance summer theater. Patrick was a dear friend of James Farnsworth, a Gay graduate of BYU's Drama Department.
