Ralph Place (1950 - 1993) Ralph Kay Place was born January 10, 1950 in Salt Lake City to Ralph J. Place. When Ralph was 19 and a student at the University of Utah, he helped co-found the Gay Liberation Front of Utah in 1969, along with Mary Heath, Pam Mayne, and George Kelly.
