Sheldon Spears (1951 - 1986) Sheldon "Winky" Constantine Spears was born August 5, 1951 in San Francisco, California. He graduated from Skyline High School in Salt Lake. He later taught classes at the University of Utah and helped found AIDS Project Utah. He died July 26, 1986, survived by his partner, Barney Jacobs.
