If you are not a member of Affirmation and do not wish to become a member at this time, there is a $20 surcharge noted on the form.
Queen Mary Tour
There will be an optional Sunday afternoon activity. We will be going to the going to the Queen Mary in nearby Long Beach, CA. At the Queen Mary, a WWII-era cruise liner, we'll be given a guided tour of the ship, with an extra behind-the-scenes tour. You must register in advance; the $18 fee is for admission and the tour. We'll be carpooling to the Queen Mary.
Affirmation offers financial assistance to help members who could not otherwise afford to attend conference.
Consider Making a Donation
Conference fees do not cover the entire cost of the conference. Your donations to help defray the cost of the conference and your donations to the Irwin Phelps Scholarship fund are both needed and welcomed.
Your conference registration does not include hotel lodging. By staying in the conference hotel you not only are at the center of all of the conference action, but you also help to defer the cost of the conference meeting facilities by fulfilling Affirmation's contractual room obligation. Please make hotel reservations with the Doubletree Hotel San Pedro by calling the reservations desk at 1-800-222-8733 or 310-514-3344 and asking for the GLM rate. Affirmation has negotiated a great room rate of only $129 (plus tax) per night for single or double, $149 for triple or quad occupancy, but this rate is only guaranteed for reservations made by September 10; after that date, neither room rate nor availability are guaranteed.
Payments & Deadlines
You may pay by check, Visa, or MasterCard, however we encourage you to pay by check, saving Affirmation the cost of the credit card merchant fee.
Your registration form must be postmarked no later than September 20. Registrations postmarked after that date will be treated as walk-in reservations and will be charged the full non-discounted conference fee of $199. Registration forms should be sent to A.N.O., P.O. Box 1435, Palm Springs, CA 92263-1435. Please do not send registration forms to the Affirmation addresses in San Francisco or Los Angeles. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your registration within 2-3 weeks after its receipt.
