Missionaries & the Mission Experience
by Seba Martinez October 2005 Atom Films has just released "Mormon on Mormon," a silly comedic short focusing on an LDS missionary who comes out to his companion. "Ever since I got hit by that taxi," Joe tells his companion, "I've decided I want to live my life by instinct and intuition—not by doctrine or dogma. I don't think first whether something fits into an organized belief system—I just do it." The part of Joe is played by Tom Beyer, and the part of Joe's companion is played by Troy Ruptash. Directed by Keith Allan, the 5-minute comedy can be viewed for free on Funny or Die. |
