After a very well attended August event, a new session of Affirmation chat will take place Spetember 7, at 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (9:00 PM EST) in the chatroom of Q-saints. Even though it is necessary to sign up onto Q-Saints in order to login, it is possible to set up an account that does not deliver Q-Saints messages in your mailbox (See directions in the FAQ section.).

Do I have to be an Affirmation member to enter the chartroom?

No. Anyone who signs up can participate.

Do I have to sign up onto the Q-Saints mailing list in order to chat?

Yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean receiving Q-Saints email. If you do not wish to receive Q-Saints email, simply select "no email" in the Message Delivery settings when you sign up.

Are there rules of conduct in the chartroom?

Yes. Participants are not allowed to say anything obscene, offensive, of hateful, nor to engage in personal attacks. Participants must also respect the privacy of other members. Those who fail to abide by these rules will be expelled from the chartroom.

What kind of topics are discussed in the chartroom?

From missionary anecdotes to the preference for shorts, boxers, or garments, a wide range of topics and issues can be discussed during a chat session. Although the conversations are usually casual, sometimes durable friendships, and even committed relationships, have started in an Affirmation chartroom.
