Will Steven be able to journey from Outer Darkness to Heavenly Mother's celestial tea party?
Sunstone Publishes 'Confessions of a Mormon Boy'

by Hugo Salinas

The "original Utah version" of Confessions of a Mormon Boy is hot off the presses in the December 2003 issue of Sunstone magazine. Humorous, witty, and moving, Confessions is an autobiographical one-man play written by gay Mormon actor Steven Fales.

Steven first presented his Confessions at the Rose Wagner Arts Center in Salt Lake City during November and December 2001. The two-week run sold out, and an additional performance was added to accommodate the demand. After performances in San Francisco, Miami, and Las Vegas, the show is now in pre-production for an Off-Broadway run.

A good friend of Affirmation, Steven has performed at the 2002 and 2003 Affirmation national conferences. In 2003 he participated in the conference along with his ex-wife, actress/writer Emily Pearson.

Steven's Confessions is available online at the Sunstone website; to learn more about Sunstone, go to <www.sunstoneonline.com>.
