Program for TGI Conference Announced
by Rebecca Nay August 2005
Hey everybody,
I wanted to update you on our plans for our first annual TGI Mormon
retreat. We have a RSVP date of September 1st which I would prefer
to stick to, but if you won't know by that date please don't let it
stop you from coming. The sooner you can let me know the better. My
last post said we would have a registration fee but we have decided on
just having a suggested donation of $20 to help pay for food for the
weekend. If you can't manage this then don't worry about it, we
still want you to come.
Here is the TENTATIVE agenda for the retreat. This could and is
likely to change depending on participation. I do not want to post
Duane's address on the list, but will provide this to all who RSVP
through me.
FRIDAY, September 16th
6pm-9pm: Meet and Greet at Duane's. (hors d'oeuvres served)
9pm-?? Out on the town (for those interested)
SATURDAY, September 17th
9am-10am: Breakfast at Duane's
10am-12pm: WTSN (Western Transexual Support Network) at the GLBT
Community Center of Utah (361 North 300 West, Salt Lake City, UT

12-1pm: Lunch at Duane's or the Comm. Center
1pm-3pm: (Duane's) Discussion time - We are trying to confirm with a
local trans therapist to see if she will join us. We have also
invited Family Fellowship but this still still not confirmed.
3-5pm: Free Time
5pm-7pm: (Duane's or the Comm. Center) Fireside to include Dinner
and Dominique's "TG 101" This would be good for family members and
friends.
7pm-10pm: Joint social with Engendered Species and possibly a
suicide vigil for Lynn Stewart (details later)
10pm-??? Out on the town (for those interested)
SUNDAY, September 18th
9am-10am: Breakfast at Duane's
10am-Noon: "Priesthood Society" -Spiritual discussion facilitated by
Kathleen B.
After our morning discussion we will go our separate ways and
hopefully be enriched because of this experience. I hope you will
consider joining us.
