Affirmation Friends to Be Featured in Utah Radio Show
Mormons for Marriage, Carol Lynn Pearson to Discuss Proposition 8 on KRCL

Three gay-friendly Mormon women will be featured Wednesday on “RadioActive,” a KRCL show produced in Salt Lake City. Laura Compton and Lisa Fahey will take the first half of the show. Both women have been active with “Mormons for Marriage,” a Mormon grassroots organization that supports marriage equality for all couples. Mormon author Carol Lynn Pearson, who in the past refused to support the Proposition 22 initiative in California, will take the second half of the show.

Last week Compton helped organize a picnic attended by some 25 Californians of Mormon background who have committed to vote against Proposition 8, thus opposing a directive the Utah-based church sent to all rank-and-file Latter-day Saints living in California.
