Randall Thacker: “It is great to see the Church is making the effort to expand the reach of the new website” by Hugo Salinas February 2013 The March issue of The Ensign includes an article about MormonsAndGays.org, the new website created by the LDS Church. The Church launched the new site in early December and announced it in the Deseret News on December 6 and in the Church News on December 7; but this is the first time the new website has been mentioned in The Ensign. The announcement appears on page 76 (News of the Church section) and is entitled, “Church Website on Same-Sex Attraction Offers Love, Understanding, and Hope.” “It is great to see the Church is making the effort to expand the reach of the new website,” says Affirmation President Randall Thacker. “I hope these efforts will continue and eventually reach around the globe.” |
