Palmyra Spiritual & Leadership Retreat – May 15-17, 2015
Join us for an intimate gathering of LGBT Mormons, Families & Friends in Palmyra, New York the weekend of May 15 -17. The format of this retreat will be similar to the one held in Nauvoo in May 2014. More details and registration to be announced in December. The retreat will begin around 6 p.m. on Friday, May 15 and conclude around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 17.
Please prepare in advance for a likely event registration cost of $50/person to cover food for the weekend and a discounted group rate of $85/night for a room that can be shared with 2-6 people (some rooms have 3 queen beds) at this location: http://www.palmyrainn.com/. You can go ahead and call and reserve a room under the name Affirmation to get the discount. Of course, airfare is at your own expense but a shuttle is provided from the Rochester Airport to the Hotel. Other options are to fly to NYC and carpool with other Affirmation community members.
