Bryan Michael Egnew was born on October 24, 1970, in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Camelback High School in Phoenix and served an LDS mission. He later attended Middle Tennessee State University and Brigham Young University. Bryan loved foreign languages and learned French, Spanish, and German. Two of his favorite quotes were "Il faut cultiver son prope jardin" (Volatire, "We must cultivate our own garden") and "Laissez les bons temps rouler" (a Cajun French phrase meaning, "Let the good times roll"). Bryan worked in the telecommunications industry and until 2008 he worked as senior manager for Nortel in the Raleigh-Durham area. He lived in Moncure, a small community ten miles southeast of Pittsboro, North Carolina. Having been left by his wife and excommunicated by the Mormon Church, Bryan committed suicide at his home on September 10, 2011. He was 40 years old. Bryan is survived by his wife, five children, his parents, four brothers, five sisters, and 31 nieces and nephews, along with many loving friends and extended family members. A memorial service was held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the LDS Camelview Ward in Phoenix.  Add Your Own Tribute
