Donated funds are used to:

Host international and regional conferences.
Support local activities.
Sustain online communities.
Provide suicide prevention training.
Ensure that Affirmation is able to effectively promote understanding, acceptance, and self-determination of individuals of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions.

General Fund: Donations made to the General Fund are used where most needed, supporting the general operations of Affirmation, local community activities, conferences, and more.

Conference Scholarships Fund: Donations made to the Conference Scholarships Fund are used to offset the cost of attendance to the Affirmation International Conference by scholarship recipients.

Latin America Area Fund: Donations made to the Latin America Area Fund support local community activities and conferences throughout Latin America.

Note: Funds other than the General Fund are board restricted funds. Donations made to these funds will be prioritized for the funds' purpose; however, these funds shall not be considered donor restricted and may be used where most needed at the direction of the Board of Directors.
