Hice un peque\u00f1o desv\u00edo al hospital debido a algunos problemas m\u00e9dicos y luego tuve algunas complicaciones despu\u00e9s de regresar a casa, pero todas mis criaturas finalmente est\u00e1n felices y saludables nuevamente, y es bueno estar de regreso.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de la gente recuerda haber le\u00eddo el libro de Kahlil Gibran <em>El profeta<\/em> en su juventud, pero para los mormones de mi edad, era el libro de Truman Madsen, <em>Cuatro ensayos sobre el amor<\/em>. Un libro peque\u00f1o, de solo 71 p\u00e1ginas, pero su conexi\u00f3n con nosotros y el poder que ejerc\u00eda fue asombroso.<\/p>\n<p>En el Ensayo #2, \u201cC\u00f3mo ser amado y amado\u201d, se centr\u00f3 en el consejo de Alma a su hijo Shibl\u00f3n: \u201cProcura refrenar todas tus pasiones, para que seas lleno de amor\u201d. (Alma 38:12.) Siempre le\u00ed ese pasaje de las Escrituras para decir si <em>Nunca<\/em> ten\u00eda esos pensamientos y tu <em>Nunca<\/em> hizo esas cosas, <em>luego<\/em> Dios te amar\u00eda (gracias, mam\u00e1), pero Madsen adopt\u00f3 un enfoque totalmente diferente. Lo compar\u00f3 con un caballo salvaje lleno de hormonas furiosas, saltando arriba y abajo mientras est\u00e1 confinado en el corral y sin llegar a ninguna parte, pero si pudieras frenar al caballo y entrenarlo para enfocar toda esa energ\u00eda desperdiciada en una direcci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica, podr\u00edas montar como el viento.<\/p>\n<p>Para una adolescente que creci\u00f3 durante la revoluci\u00f3n sexual, con &quot;resistir y reprimir&quot; como mis \u00fanicas herramientas para hacer frente, y estar en una iglesia llena de nada m\u00e1s que &quot;no debes&quot;, era un concepto revolucionario: no ten\u00eda que temer mis hormonas. Podr\u00eda conservarlos, aprovecharlos, canalizarlos, convertir al caballo salvaje en un pura sangre y llenarme de amor, del tipo con una L may\u00fascula. Por primera vez en mi vida, las hormonas estaban bien, solo necesitaba se\u00f1alarlas. en la direcci\u00f3n correcta, y ni siquiera dio una lista de lo que se debe y no se debe hacer. Dej\u00f3 eso entre Dios y yo.<\/p>\n<p>En ese momento, no me di cuenta de que el caballo era gay, eso vendr\u00eda despu\u00e9s, pero finalmente lo descubr\u00ed y ahora me siento mucho m\u00e1s c\u00f3modo en la silla. Tambi\u00e9n me doy cuenta de que las pasiones son m\u00e1s que hormonas, pero me alegro de que est\u00e9n en la lista. Yo tambi\u00e9n aprend\u00ed a amarlos. El amor con L may\u00fascula incluye amarte a ti mismo por lo que realmente eres, subirte al caballo y montar como el viento.
