Randall Thacker, presidente de Afirmaci\u00f3n, y Ty Mansfield, presidente de Northstar, encabezaron una delegaci\u00f3n de seis mujeres y hombres para un debate serio sobre las formas de mejorar la comprensi\u00f3n. Si bien es obvio que cada organizaci\u00f3n tiene su propia misi\u00f3n y que hay \u00e1reas importantes en las que vemos las cosas de manera muy diferente, el consenso fue que podemos estar m\u00e1s conectados y ser m\u00e1s respetuosos entre nosotros y reconocer las buenas intenciones para atender las necesidades de nuestros Comunidad LGBTIA \/ SSA LDS \/ Mormon.<\/p>\n<p>El grupo inici\u00f3 un debate sobre las \u00e1reas en las que puede haber oportunidades de colaboraci\u00f3n, como la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios, la intervenci\u00f3n en situaciones de crisis, el aumento de la aceptaci\u00f3n familiar, el respeto de las opciones de vida y los viajes de las personas, y la voluntad de guiar a las personas hacia la organizaci\u00f3n y conferencias que mejor reflejen su apoyo deseado. Se mencionaron ejemplos en la reuni\u00f3n donde los l\u00edderes de cada organizaci\u00f3n han referido a individuos cuyas metas de vida estaban mejor alineadas con la otra organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los l\u00edderes de Affirmation y Northstar que participaron en la reuni\u00f3n se comprometieron a establecer un tono de respeto personal mutuo, reconociendo que las personas de bien tendr\u00e1n experiencias personales que los llevar\u00e1n a ver diferentes soluciones a desaf\u00edos similares. No tenemos que estar de acuerdo con aspectos espec\u00edficos de la misi\u00f3n o las pr\u00e1cticas de cada uno para reconocer la buena voluntad con la que cada uno de nosotros aborda nuestros prop\u00f3sitos. No esperamos que aquellos que encuentran un hogar seguro y \u00fatil en una organizaci\u00f3n deban estar de acuerdo con la manera de apoyar a los miembros de la otra para poder hablar con respeto entre ellos.<\/p>\n<p>Esperamos continuar esta conversaci\u00f3n y que el tono, de poder articular claramente nuestros puntos de vista sin degradar personalmente a nadie que tenga una experiencia u opini\u00f3n diferente, est\u00e9 presente en nuestras conversaciones en l\u00ednea, en grupos de Facebook y en persona.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los l\u00edderes de Affirmation y Northstar que participaron en la reuni\u00f3n se comprometieron a establecer un tono de respeto personal mutuo, reconociendo que las personas de bien tendr\u00e1n experiencias personales que los llevar\u00e1n a ver diferentes soluciones a desaf\u00edos similares.
