Karin estava em nossos pensamentos e ora\u00e7\u00f5es durante todo o fim de semana.<\/p>\n<p>Sexta \u00e0 noite, nos reunimos no centro de Washington para socializar, comer um jantar fant\u00e1stico (planejado e executado por\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\">Doug Balls<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0e\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/affirmation.org\/pt\/?page_id=107\/#colby\">Colby Goddard<\/a><\/strong>) e compartilhe nossas hist\u00f3rias uns com os outros. A conta\u00e7\u00e3o de hist\u00f3rias demorou mais do que esper\u00e1vamos, at\u00e9 cerca das 22h30, mas foi uma oportunidade incr\u00edvel para nos conhecermos melhor e entendermos quais anseios nos uniram a todos.<\/p>\n<p>Os participantes do encontro prepararam-se enviando com anteced\u00eancia um question\u00e1rio detalhado, perguntando-nos como imagin\u00e1vamos o mundo para os m\u00f3rmons LGBT \/ SSA em 20 anos, em 10 anos e em 5 anos. Dev\u00edamos pensar sobre o papel que a Afirma\u00e7\u00e3o desempenharia para ajudar a criar esse mundo e, ent\u00e3o, imaginar o que a Afirma\u00e7\u00e3o teria realizado nos pr\u00f3ximos tr\u00eas anos. Imaginamos como seria a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o, quem estaria l\u00e1 e quais seriam nossas principais realiza\u00e7\u00f5es. Tamb\u00e9m respondemos a perguntas detalhadas sobre nossos objetivos em uma variedade de \u00e1reas, quais desafios enfrentar\u00edamos, o que far\u00edamos para atingir nossos objetivos ou superar desafios e como saber\u00edamos se hav\u00edamos obtido sucesso no final.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/affirmation.org\/pt\/?page_id=107\/#trevor\">Trevor Cook<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/affirmation.org\/pt\/?page_id=107\/#todd\">Todd Richardson<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0e\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/affirmation.org\/pt\/?page_id=107\/#sam\">Sam Noble<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0compilou os resultados das pesquisas em um relat\u00f3rio que se tornou o documento de trabalho mais importante para o fim de semana.<\/p>\n<p>Come\u00e7amos no in\u00edcio do s\u00e1bado com uma interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o estimulante de \u201cO Esp\u00edrito de Deus como um fogo est\u00e1 queimando\u201d e uma ora\u00e7\u00e3o de abertura, convidando o Esp\u00edrito a estar presente conosco e nos ajudar em nossa vis\u00e3o e planejamento.<\/p>\n<p>Pela manh\u00e3, Olin Thomas e Hugo Salinas fizeram um comovente relato das tr\u00eas d\u00e9cadas e meia de hist\u00f3ria da Afirma\u00e7\u00e3o. Em seguida, discutimos a vis\u00e3o coletiva e os objetivos que surgiram das pesquisas. \u00c0 tarde, nos dividimos em grupos em seis \u00e1reas diferentes identificadas por meio das quest\u00f5es de defini\u00e7\u00e3o de metas: Espiritualidade, Di\u00e1logo, Comunidade, Conex\u00e3o com Recursos, Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento Organizacional. As equipes identificaram as principais a\u00e7\u00f5es que consideraram necess\u00e1rias para alcan\u00e7ar seus objetivos. Eles estimaram a quantidade de tempo e o custo para executar uma a\u00e7\u00e3o e quais outras metas seriam afetadas por essa a\u00e7\u00e3o. Em seguida, nos reunimos novamente como um corpo unido, revisamos o trabalho de cada grupo de trabalho e, em seguida, votamos quais a\u00e7\u00f5es deveriam ser uma prioridade para a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Encerramos com um hino e uma ora\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>No s\u00e1bado \u00e0 noite, membros do cap\u00edtulo de Washington da Afirma\u00e7\u00e3o foram convidados a se juntar a n\u00f3s para comer, socializar e cantar hinos. Domingo de manh\u00e3, alguns de n\u00f3s fomos \u00e0 Igreja na Ala Washington DC 3, onde fomos calorosa e amorosamente recebidos e reconhecidos no final da reuni\u00e3o sacramental.<\/p>\n<p>A reuni\u00e3o foi profundamente comovente e extremamente produtiva. Os participantes relataram ter sa\u00eddo com mais amor, respeito e gratid\u00e3o uns pelos outros, e entusiasmo pelo trabalho que imaginamos para n\u00f3s mesmos. O Comit\u00ea Executivo (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/affirmation.org\/pt\/?page_id=107\/#randall\">Randall Thacker<\/a><\/strong>, presidente e\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/affirmation.org\/pt\/?page_id=107\/#john\">John Gustav-Wrathall<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0e\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/affirmation.org\/pt\/?page_id=107\/#karin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Karin Hendricks<\/a><\/strong>, vice-presidentes), em consulta com o quadro de Afirma\u00e7\u00e3o, revisar\u00e1 o trabalho da reuni\u00e3o de lideran\u00e7a nos pr\u00f3ximos dias e informar\u00e1 aos membros em geral da Afirma\u00e7\u00e3o quais objetivos nos concentraremos no pr\u00f3ximo ano, com um plano de a\u00e7\u00e3o para cumprir esses
