<\/a><\/a>Workshops Program Finalized<\/span><\/h3>\n

The\u00a0full list of Saturday workshops\u00a0has been finalized and organized in three sessions. Two of the panels will be repeated during the Second and Third Session, allowing more people a chance to attend.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Deadlines for Scholarships, Discounted Registration Extended<\/span><\/h3>\n

The deadline for students and those with extremely limited financial resources to register for conference at the $50 price has been extended through September 12.<\/p>\n

As of September 11, registration by mail or email is closed.\u00a0Online registration<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is still open through September 12.<\/p>\n

Carpooling and\u00a0sharing hotel rooms<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0are suggested ways to save money.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Bring Friends, Family to the Saturday Evening Program<\/span><\/h3>\n

We strongly encourage conference-goers to invite family and friends to the\u00a0Saturday evening program<\/a><\/strong>. Priced at $15, the program will include a 6:00 pm reception with heavy appetizers, a 7:00 pm testimony\/story-sharing meeting, and an 8:00 Evening of Affirmation, followed by desserts and socializing.<\/p>\n

The reception and story-sharing meeting will be held in the\u00a0Officers Club<\/a><\/strong>. The evening of Affirmation will be held in the\u00a0Douglas Ballroom, which is attached to the Guesthouse<\/a><\/strong>. We suggest that those driving for the evening park behind the Guesthouse\u00a0as shown in this map<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and, if planning to attend the 6:00 PM reception and\/or the 7:00 PM story-sharing meeting walk to the Officers Club.<\/p>\n

The Evening of Affirmation will include musical numbers by the\u00a0Affirmation Choir<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and presentations by some of our LGBT allies:\u00a0Barb and Steve Young<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Benji Schwimmer<\/a><\/strong>, and\u00a0Judy Finch<\/a><\/strong>. With an inspiring lineup of presenters and music, this will no doubt be one of the highlights of our conference.<\/p>\n

You can buy tickets for this event\u00a0online<\/a>\u00a0or by mail, but we need to know the number of attendees a few days before conference so that we can order the food.<\/p>\n
