A Igreja de Jesus Cristo dos Santos dos \u00daltimos Dias lan\u00e7ou uma vers\u00e3o atualizada do Manual de Instru\u00e7\u00f5es da Igreja.<\/span><\/p>\n

As novas instru\u00e7\u00f5es adicionam estar em um \u201ccasamento do mesmo sexo\u201d \u00e0 lista de comportamentos definidos como \u201capostasia\u201d, tornando um conselho disciplinar obrigat\u00f3rio para qualquer pessoa legalmente casada com algu\u00e9m do mesmo sexo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m disso, pro\u00edbe o filho (natural ou adotivo) de casal homossexual (legalmente casado ou em uni\u00e3o de facto) de receber um nome e uma b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3o na Igreja. Um filho de um casal homossexual n\u00e3o pode ser batizado ou confirmado, ordenado ou recomendado para o servi\u00e7o mission\u00e1rio, a menos que seja maior de idade e n\u00e3o more com seus pais, e a menos que, em uma entrevista com um l\u00edder da Igreja, eles rejeitem a pr\u00e1tica do mesmo. coabita\u00e7\u00e3o de g\u00eanero e casamento.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reafirmamos a divindade e dignidade de todos os filhos de Deus e de todas as fam\u00edlias e o potencial que cada um deles tem para amar e apoiar plenamente uns aos outros neste mundo e no pr\u00f3ximo. Somos solid\u00e1rios com todas as crian\u00e7as, indiv\u00edduos e fam\u00edlias que est\u00e3o sendo afastados e lamentamos aqueles profundamente prejudicados por esta pol\u00edtica. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ainda assim, olhamos para o futuro com esperan\u00e7a. <\/span>Os m\u00f3rmons cada vez mais nos veem como somos, sem nos condenar por nossa orienta\u00e7\u00e3o sexual. Apesar da dor causada por essa nova pol\u00edtica, h\u00e1 uma maneira melhor de avan\u00e7ar do que revidar. Baseia-se nos fundamentos do Evangelho, incluindo o Primeiro e o Segundo Grande Mandamento e a Regra de Ouro. For\u00e7ar os filhos a repudiar o amor dos pais como pre\u00e7o da aceita\u00e7\u00e3o pela Igreja \u00e9 contr\u00e1rio a tudo o que a Igreja nos ensinou sobre a natureza e o prop\u00f3sito da fam\u00edlia. <\/span><\/p>\n

J\u00e1 suportamos muitas coisas no passado como povo m\u00f3rmon e oramos para que possamos suportar isso tamb\u00e9m, com o amor de Cristo e o apoio de nossos amigos e familiares dentro da Afirma\u00e7\u00e3o, da Igreja e de nossas comunidades. Sempre esperamos e oramos por um dia de maior aceita\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o muito distante, do que aquele refletido no atual manual da Igreja. <\/span><\/p>\n
