
Eli McCann is a Utah native who lives in Salt Lake City with his husband, Skylar, and their newborn son. He is a former litigator in the areas of employment discrimination, civil rights, and related appeals. Eli is currently working as senior corporate counsel for Oracle. Eli also teaches First Amendment at the S. J. Quinney College of Law. He received his juris doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2011. Eli is involved in several creative projects based in Utah, including producing Strangerville Salt Lake City. Many of Eli’s creative writing pieces and articles, including on LGBTQ issues, have been published through several outlets both in and outside of Utah, including in The Salt Lake Tribune. Eli is a member of the Equality Utah Foundation Board in 2021.
