GayStories and Resources for the LGBTQIA+ Latter-day Saint Community

Man Suit Talking Gay

The Human Rights Campaign describes being gay as being emotionally, romantically, or sexually attracted to members of the same gender. Men, women, and non-binary people may use this term to describe themselves. According to GLAAD, gay is the adjective used to describe people whose enduring physical, romantic, and/ or emotional attractions are to people of the same sex. For the purposes of this page, we will focus on gay men, reserving a separate page for stories and resources for and about lesbian current or former Latter-day Saints.

Rather than describe themselves as being gay, Latter-day Saint men who are attracted to men might describe themselves as being same-sex attracted.
