As part of the 2012 Affirmation International Conference, Affirmation Venezuela sponsored a workshop entitled, “Many Colors, One Light,” which was led by the leadership of the chapter along with a young chapter member. The workshop focused on the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and their unique and wonderful light that is manifested in our lives through beautiful and significant miracles, even as we endure difficult and threatening challenges and trials.

“When you are very young, that’s when you most need the love of your parents and the safety of your home. To be rejected and separated from our relatives is very hard because the feeling of loneliness and helplessness encompasses your life with deep sadness,” shared Edmon Augustus, who co-organized the workshop. “However, it is within that deep darkness that the infinite love and light of our Heavenly Father and the atonement of Jesus Christ become present in our lives, through angeles sent by Him. They share His loving message and extend their hands unconditionally, in a way that is beyond our understanding as mortal beings. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He loves me forever, just as I am; complete with all authentic colors, just as He created me.”

In Affirmation Venezuela, we have faith in the wonderful work of Affirmation internationally and we are committed to this work now and hope to expand this work father after the pandemic. We have a great deal of joy and enthusiasm in our hearts following the International Conference, as it provided an opportunity for us to edify one another and our multicolored and luminous souls as we testified of the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father for His children and that authenticity is a virtue that should always shine as a testimony of His infinite mercy for us.
