Affirmation Dominican leaders and other members have volunteered and joined forces to rent an office for The Rainbow Ark and have started program coordination, international affiliations, coordinating hosting and arranging visa process operations for incoming participants. For young adults 18+ and older The Organization will assist in work placement and provide help with accommodation, visas and relocation assistance.

Affirmation Conferences in Chile, Peru and Mexico

A total of 11 regional or thematic conferences have been held this year, including: Los Angeles (January 15-17), Bogota, Colombia (February 19-21), the Affirmation Father’s Retreat in Lehi, UT (March 18-20), Fortaleza, Brazil (April 8-10), Sao Paulo, Brazil (April 15-18), Buenos Aires, Argentina (April 22-24), the Affirmation Leadership Retreat in Independence, MO (May 13-15), London (June 10-12).

Every year, we hold an international gathering where LGBTQ+ Mormons from around the world gather to meet, break bread together, sing together, talk, dance, worship, tell stories, learn, laugh, cry, make new friends, spend time with old friends, and, most of all, find hope. We invite you to come join us this year, at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, Utah, September 23-25.
