Episode 239 of the A Thoughtful Faith podcast released March 23rd, 2018, featured Laurie Lee Hall, a former stake president and transgender woman who was excommunicated from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, partially for attending Relief Society meetings. She joined Laurie Dipadova-Stocks a former Stake Relief Society President; and Royleane Otteson, a former Ward Relief Society President to discuss women’s ministry in the Mormon Church, what ways it has gone wrong, and their thoughts on how it can be fixed.
