Affirmation: LGBTQ Mormons, Families & Friends is thrilled to announce that we will be marching in the WorldPride 2025 Parade in Washington, DC, on Saturday, June 7, 2025—and we want YOU to join us!
Whether you’re a long-time member or brand new to Affirmation, whether you’re from the DC area or traveling in from across the country or around the globe—you’re invited to march proudly with us.
What is WorldPride 2025?
WorldPride 2025 is an international celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, diversity, and human rights, hosted this year in the heart of the United States—Washington, DC.
The event is expected to draw millions of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies for a series of unforgettable parades, festivals, concerts, and cultural events.
Marching in this global event allows Affirmation’s LGBTQ Mormon community to stand visible, united, and proud on one of the world’s largest LGBTQ+ stages.

All are welcome—LGBTQ+ individuals, families, allies, current or former Mormons, people of faith, people of no faith, and everyone in between.

What to Wear and Bring
There’s no dress code—just show up in what makes you feel proud, visible, and fabulous.
We encourage:

- Faith-positive signs and banners
- Affirming messages and symbols
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Banners, flags, signs of affirmation, and joy are highly encouraged.
