As the year draws to a close, our global Affirmation community comes together once more — to reflect, rejoice, and rise in gratitude.
This year’s Virtual Holiday Celebration centers on the theme “Light, Hope, and Belonging.”

It’s a 90-minute online experience that connects us across time zones and cultures — filled with heartfelt stories, music, and messages from our worldwide community. Whether you’ve attended every Affirmation event this year or are joining us for the first time, this gathering is your invitation to pause, breathe, and celebrate the light you carry.

Music & Traditions: “Light Across Cultures”
Experience songs and short readings from around the world — celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Las Posadas, and more.

Stories of Hope & Renewal
Hear two inspiring, personal stories from Affirmation members reflecting courage, faith, and belonging.

Mortensen Award Presentation
Celebrate the recipient of Affirmation’s highest honor, recognizing exceptional leadership and service to our community.

Breakout Circles: “What Light Are You Carrying?”
Join a small group conversation and share your own words of hope, gratitude, or renewal.
(Don’t worry — you can listen quietly or share if you feel moved.)

Collective Blessing & Closing Message
We’ll end the year together with a multilingual reflection and a community “chat flood” of gratitude that fills the screen with light.

You can participate virtually, host a small gathering, or simply join from your favorite cozy space.
