Affirmation Spain meets in person, focuses on mission, plans for future

Creating a community of safety, love, and hope is one of the objectives of Affirmation Spain.

On September 18 and 19, the members of Affirmation Spain held a meeting to get to know each other. During this weekend we had the opportunity to get to know each other and strengthen our bonds of friendship. We shared our life experiences, our past in the church and talked about the future of Affirmation in our country, we talked about the challenges we face, our goals, and aspirations.

Ben, Antonio, Manuel, Angel, Carlos, and I Rafael spent a weekend of relaxation and fun in Aranjuez, Madrid.

Fortunately, the COVID 19 restrictions in the country have allowed us to get together and we plan more activities for the coming months and hope that more people will be able to attend with us.

Affirmation has the mission to worldwide communities of safety, love, and hope; and promotes understanding, acceptance, and self-determination of people of diverse sexual orientations, identities and gender expressions. In this activity, the goal of the organization has been fulfilled and we are grateful for that.
