Fall 2023 Campaign:  A Joyful LGBT LDS/Mormon Holiday Season Celebration/Campaña de otoño de 2023: una alegre celebración de la temporada navideña LGBT, SUD y mormones 





What we are asking

Affirmation is collecting videos running from 30 seconds to 1 minute of anyone who is LGBTQ+ and has been a member or close to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

  • At the beginning of the video we ask the participants to share this image or a screenshot of the dictionary definition in English (Joy) or Spanish (Alegria):
  • Record your video featuring all the things that bring the most joy into your lives, including partners and transitions (ex. An image montage of your gay wedding, a video of you going in for gender affirming surgery, etc.)
  • Include the hashtags throughout the video
  • Include the following written information at the end:

We are looking to include videos in both English and Spanish. Please include captions in the language being spoken (ex. English videos with English captions, Spanish videos with Spanish captions).
