Just as the New York Times recently called Taiwan a “beacon” for gays in Asia, I am hopeful the church here will become the same thing for Latter-day Saints in other Asian areas.
We are a group that shares the personal stories and viewpoints of LGBTQIA+/SGA Mormon women. Our purpose is to connect as sisters and to make our experiences known. We are currently looking for posts written by LGBTQIA+/SGA women that feature personal stories and experiences about sexuality, gender, and faith. The Tree of Life Award was established in 2013 as an annual award to be presented for the best book, article, film, play or other creative/expressive material that presents authentic LGBT Mormon stories to the world.

A few months ago, the Spirit moved upon me to do something to fellowship my transgender and gender variant brothers and sisters. I wanted to provide a safe, non-judgmental, loving way to help my brothers and sisters continue to live a spiritual life, even when circumstances may have closed them out of the circle of fellowship within the church.
