Animator on “Coco” to Keynote Affirmation International Conference

Emron Grover

Returned missionary. BYU graduate. Dancer. Acclaimed digital animator. Father. Husband. Gay. Emron Grover has a wealth of experience that he will be sharing with those attending the 2018 Affirmation International Conference, July 20 – 22, in Salt Lake City.

Emron grew up in an active LDS family in Draper, Utah, where he was the third of eight children. He served an LDS mission in the Czech Republic. Following his mission, he attended and graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He also minored in computer science and dance. While at BYU, he toured the world as a member of the university’s award-winning Ballroom Dance Company. In 2007, he joined Pixar Animation Studios, where he enjoys working on Academy Award winning films like “Up,” “Brave,” “Inside Out,” and “Coco.”

Emron loves soccer, gaming, technology, travel, and spending time with his husband, Brian, and their two sons, Wyatt, age 6, and Walker, age 4.
