I just got off the phone with an activist in St. George, Utah, who will be working to organize a new chapter of Affirmation in that area where resources and support for LGBTQ individuals are limited and coming out can be terrifying. Thanks to her, and countless others like you, we can continue to build this critical life-saving community for LGBTQ Mormons, their family members, and their friends.

Thank you to everyone who supported Affirmation yesterday during Giving Tuesday by donating to our efforts on Facebook, our website, or otherwise. While we’re still waiting for final numbers to come in, we think we raised over $13,000 yesterday.

The support shown yesterday was great, but you can continue to make a difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ Mormons, their families, and friends by donating today and having your donation matched due to a generous grant to help Affirmation reach its $50,000 goal.

So many participated by starting their own fundraisers on Facebook to benefit Affirmation and by setting their alarms to give early in the day to take advantage of the $7 million in matching funds made available yesterday by Facebook and Paypal. Thank you for doing what you could to make a difference!

Were you not able to participate in Giving Tuesday? We have some great news! A generous supporter has offered to continue to match your donations, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. Your $25 donation will become $50, and your $100 donation will become $200! If used fully, your donations matched by this grant, along with the donations from yesterday, will get us 66% of the way to our goal of $50,000 by the end of this year!
