Square-Donate-Today-Difference

In times of uncertainty, there’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things. Whether that’s through donations to community organizations or assisting neighbors with everyday tasks, generosity has been making a positive impact on the world. Together, acts of kindness and compassion have been driving forces in overcoming challenges and fostering a sense of global unity.

Affirmation: LGBT Mormons, Families, and Friends is participating in GivingTuesday today, the global day of unity and giving. As you know, Affirmation provides the following services for LGBTQ+ LDS members or former members:

  • 30 international chapters providing local group and one-on-one in-person direct and/or virtual online peer support
  • 14 Affinity groups connected with 4,000+ members providing virtual online peer support
  • Youth programming,
  • Mental Health Task Force (MHTF) support during crises and,
  • Annual and Regional conferences

But we can’t do this without you!

Not only do we need your support, we need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too!

Here are 4 ways you can be a part of the generosity movement:

  1. Donate – affirmation.org/donate
  2. Volunteer your time – affirmation.org/about/volunteer
  3. Share on social media – Facebook, Instagram, and X
  4. Have fun!

Thank you for being a part of the Affirmation: LGBT Mormons, Families and Friends team.

Many thanks to our board, chapter leaders, affinity group leaders, special task groups, and volunteers for their countless hours serving others’ needs. Also, a great thank you to our donors, who give us the much-needed funds to generate the outcomes we achieve daily.

Together we can create affirming communities of safety, love, and hope that promote understanding, acceptance, and self-determination of LGBTQIA+ individuals.
