Affirmation Mexico celebrates Christmas
As is tradition, the members of Affirmation Mexico held a posaba; It was last Saturday, December 18, that they met in Mexico City to participate in the last in-person activity of this year. During this activity, board games and dancing were held, some of the participants shared with others the typical foods of this Christmas time in their regions since several of the participants traveled from different parts of the country to be present at this inn.
Affirmation Mexico closes this year with great success, during 2024 this chapter carried out several activities among which the participation of Affirmation Mexico in the inter-religious meeting of the LGBTQ community in Mexico City, participation in the march for rights of the LGBTQ community, the national conference of Affirmation Mexico, and virtual talks on various topics were held every Monday this year. Celia Vazquez, who is a member of the board of directors and also responsible for the activities in Affirmation Mexico, has done an extraordinary job coordinating and directing these efforts to keep the organization active and united in the country.
We are sure that the next year 2024 would bring with it even more activities and progress for the members of Affirmation in all regions of Mexico and thereby contribute to the mission and vision of Affirmation to create spaces of security, love and hope for the LGBTQ community.
