An Evening with Carson Tueller, 2022 Affirmation Connections
Recorded during the 2022 Affirmation Connections Virtual Summit on April 23rd, 2022.
Session Description
Featuring Carson Tueller. Moderated by Nathan Kitchen.
Carson Tueller is a speaker, presenter, and personal development coach. He is also the past president of Affirmation. Come hear about his coming out, his amazing advocacy work for LGBTQIA+ individuals and people with disabilities, and how he navigated his personal Queer/Latter-day Saint intersection.
Everything about Carson’s life changed the year that he came out as a gay man and injured his spinal cord in an accident that paralyzed him. Carson believes in the power of storytelling and he shares his story both authentically and vulnerably. His life experiences provide a powerful context from which he speaks, writes, and coaches.
Carson will share his story and then be joined by Affirmation President Nathan Kitchen for discussion and questions.
