Francisco Ruiz has served in numerous leadership roles in Affirmation and has supported other leaders and members worldwide to make a difference in the lives of others. He is the recipient of the 2022 Affirmation Mortensen Award.
Current Affirmation Board Member Melissa-Malcolm King was the only presidential candidate to declare by the October 7 deadline and has nominated fellow board members Francisco Ruiz and Kate Mower as senior vice president and vice president, respectively. Once elected and ratified, they will begin their service on January 1st, 2023.

Affirmation Venezuela held its first conference. The theme was “Challenges of Freedom,” where attendees experienced God’s love to heal wounds and restore faith in themselves.
